“Friendly staff very easy access to the domestic airport. Restaurant modestly to pricey. However very expensive over night parking. Almost cheaper to book airport parking.. rooms are comfortable Foxtel to the room”
— Jason Stevens
“It's a budget hotel so expect budget accommodation, but it's comfortable enough to give you an overnight rest and a shower between flights.
It's a short shuttle from the airport, and they provide the service every half hour or so, starting at 3:30am from the hotel and last shuttle leaves the airport at 9:45pm (give-or-take to allow for traffic).
The staff were great - friendly and helpful - which is what you're looking for after a flight (or two), or if you need a place to stay because of a delay/cancellation. Only problem I had was that there was a used bar of soap and water on the floor in the shower, so it had recently been used and not cleaned very well (poor form given that I was checking in at 10pm). Other than that, it was a pleasant enough experience.
If you're looking for a cheap room to rest your head for a few hours, you've found the right place, but if you're hoping for a king bed and stocked mini bar, you might want to consider something else... Oh, yeah, and there's no lift, so hopefully you don't end up on the 3rd (top) floor if you've got a couple of heavy suitcases.”
