“I was extremely disappointed in this hotel!
If I could give a negative star I would. I am a diamond member and have stayed at Hampton Inn numerous times. Never have I stayed at one in this condition. Was not offered water or anything. I had to ask.
In summary:
1) Rooms are extremely small, old, and dirty. My college dorm room was larger than this.
2) Clean bath towels were an issue, they were out of clean towels everyday. Sheets were thin and worn out.
3) Bathroom sink would not drain
4) The gentleman at the desk that worked the night shift was rude and condescending.
5) Our door handle had been kicked in or something and never replaced.
6) The coffee this morning was cold and the front desk worker actually just looked at the me and said … yea it is old, It is last nights coffee. Then smirked. Apparently he was too lazy to prepare a fresh hot pot of coffee for the morning guest.

On a good note, It is an easy walk to Grand Central Station and there is a pizza place close that sells great pizza by the slice!”

“hotel, staff is amazing, especially Ms. Asia, she is great and really helpfully lady. Hotel is at great location only few minutes walk from Grand Central Station. As New York first timers we looked for safe and best possible location to see the city, Hampton Inn Grad Central delivered all that we needed. Special bonus goes to their great service and their taking care of their guests.... they offer to guest free bottled water so you can refresh between sightseeing.... My 5* goes to them... Until next time”
