This hotel is incredible. It’s a beautiful spade right on the ocean. Very clean and modern rooms. We really enjoyed the unique design of the rooms and bathrooms. We never had any troubles getting chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooftop pools are stunning. Highly highly recommend spending the extra money and staying here

My family and I had an excellent stay at the W Fort Lauderdale. Vera at reception was exceptional, thanking me for my Marriott Bonvoy loyalty, upgrading our room, and allowing us to check in early and check out late. Kelly at the pool also made my family feel very appreciated, constantly checking in on us to make sure we needed anything. There were a number of other team members that were equally as professional and attentive throughout our short stay. Everyone we interacted with seemed to love working at W. The facilities were beautiful, location perfect, and food options top notch. We will definitely be staying here again.

My husband and I rented an apartment at the W residences and were able to use the amenities of the hotel. I wanted to write a review in order to shout out Dominic at the pool and his exceptional service! We truly cannot say enough great things about him! His service at the pool was the most personable, thoughtful, and attentive service we have ever received! He went above and beyond for us in so many ways, and made our trip so special. When I left my phone at the beach, he saw me looking for it and, within seconds, was on the phone contacting the beach staff in order to find it. Additionally, when my husband needed sunglasses, without a second thought, Dominic went down to the store to see if they had any for sale. Truly the best service of all time! He is extremely kind and awesome and we hope to run into him again someday. We wish him all the great things this world has to offer! Thanks again! :)

We booked an ocean front suite prior to leaving for our cruise and after having high hopes for this property it was an overall disappointment. I love the W brand and is my brand of choice amongst Marriott properties but this is a dated property that does not wow you in any way. We couldn’t check in until 4pm which is fine but with my Ambassador status and out of the 160 nights I’ve stayed this year with Marriott not once have I had this happen. We asked for a late checkout (which is guaranteed with Ambassador status) and they were definitely not friendly about it even though we only needed it for 1pm. There is a $45 resort fee… for what?! I didn’t realize that when booking and I have no problem with resort fees if you’re actually getting something from it. The property desperately needs a facelift and you will notice that immediately upon entering your room if you’re familiar with the W brand. I received two fraudulent charges from the spa on my bill which I am still working out with the hotel. Lastly, they had a guy pressure washing the pool deck at 7am on a Sunday. All of the suites directly face the pool which faces the ocean. Awesome waking up to that. Have some common sense there guys, 7am on a Sunday?? So yea, this W is probably the worst of any I’ve stayed in. If you can snag a room here for under $200 a night it would be worth it but I would never in a million years pay anything more.

Rooms are wonderful, we stayed in the 2 bedroom condo. Perfect privacy for parents. The room offers a full kitchen and laundry. Everything from the valet, bell service and room service was exquisite. The views from the balcony was phenomenal. The beach is literally just outside the doors of the hotel. Food and shopping all within a few minutes walk.

Upscale modern hotel. Friendly staff,and was happy they upgraded our room with our platinum Marriott status. Room 711 had a nice view of the ocean, and a spacious bathroom, with separate sinks, and a large shower. The room was a little dated and could use an update, but was clean and comfortable.

From the second we walked in, we were greeted by the kindest, most helpful staff member Raul. He immediately took care of us and started our trip off with such an incredible note. He was so kind and helpful and every single person has been so nice. The room is beautiful! The beds are comfortable!!! It’s nice to finally get good service :)

Perfect location right on the beach with a heated pool and walking distance to great restaurants and bars. We stayed at a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect. If you’re going with small kids, enroll them at the day camps at Hilton. Would stay here again.

Great location, we had a beautiful ocean view with a nice balcony. Staff are great, loved the pool area and the DJ on the weekends However the hotel need a bit of an update, you can see the rooms are not new and they urgently need to update their shower… the water pressure was soooo low… Besides that had a great stay

We just wanted to give a huge shout out to THE most helpful, pleasant and welcoming team member we have encountered at any hotel. The team member we want to recognize is Gloria. She welcomed us to the W hotel in Ft. Lauderdale and was efficient and all around a pleasure. Our room was not ready when we arrived and Gloria guided us as to what was available, set us up with recommendations, plans and activities to take advantage of while we waited. We were grateful to have such a wonderful team member set us up to start our vacation off on the right foot. Thank you again Gloria, the W is lucky to have you as a team member.
