“Although we didnt get our room until around 4:40pm (they were short staffed), check in was smooth with Chris. Chris was nice and friendly and worked with us to get a decent room. This is a 3 star property with nice grounds, good location, the hotel was quiet and our room was comfortable. We were content as we were tired. The next day we asked Evie at the front desk if we could be moved because we were staying for a few nights and when the folks above us arrived, they were loud (stomping mostly). Evie was so accommodating and located a different room. We ended up not moving when we learned the folks above us were checking out. Evie alao went out of her way in helping us out with a couple of other small issues. We really appreciated her help and positive attitude (she was attending to several different things at one time). It's always great when folks take an extra step to help. Thank you Evie. My only suggestion for the hotel is that someone should go to all the rooms annually and do an inventory check. For instance, our room only had one wine glass (a few other items were also missing). If toasters are ever replaced please purchase wide slot. Our bread wouldn't fit for our lunch sandwiches. There are two tennis courts and a swimming pool. We never had a chance to use but others seemed to enjoy them. We are platinum level with Marriott and travel extensively so we have some experience. All in all, we had a great trip!”
