“Let's be honest, the hotel has seen better days. What it lacks in infrastructure and maintenance (cosmetic stuff only, nothing life affecting) it makes up with the quality of service, customer care and cleanliness. Food is fantastic. House wine is decent as long as you stick with white (might be my personal taste though). Towels aplenty, hairdryer, and whatnot. There are events and life music if you're into that kind of thing. 0 pests spotted, don't believe previous reviews. Second night in and I can't think of anything that would improve the place without tearing it down and building something other than skyscraper ;)”

“Just arrived back from a relaxing week at Be Live A.O. on a half board basis For me this is a typical Spanish holiday hotel, somewhat dated and in need of a revamp, but for the money and location in Puerto de la Cruz I can't really fault it. The staff were so friendly, the room basic but spotlessly clean and comfortable and there was a reasonable variety of food for most tastes. The drink prices with the evening meal were also very fair. I'm not sure if it is an on going offer but I liked the flexibility they offered on switching the evening meal to lunchtime whenever you needed.
The majority of visitors while we were there were in the late middle age group. Very popular with the Spanish but there were couples and older family groups from many walk of life.”
